Senator Kissel Gets Fermi Field Remediation Money from the State - 1.1 Mil!
Great News: John Kissel has been working like a "dog" trying to get the final payment of $1.1 million dollars from the State of CT regarding the Fermi remediation money – and John Did it!!!!!
Background for our new friends:
The Town of Enfield moved forward with new fields at our local high school, Fermi, and when the project started it was found there was contaminated soil. Thus, it had to be remediated at a cost well over $2 million dollars.
The State of CT promised to help pay for this - remediation - and because of Senator John Kissel - WE FINALLY ARE GOING TO GET the final bond payment check today.
Senator Kissel has been keeping an eye on this for years and has never let up in the Senate to make sure Enfield got what it was promised.
Please, if you have time today, meet at Fermi High School (front steps) at 1 PM – Today, July 29th.
Come thank Governor Rell for pushing this through the bond commission and a big THANK YOU to Senator Kissel for doing the great job we have learned to expect from our hard-working Senator.
If you can’t attend, send John a note and thank him for his hard work. john.A.Kissel@cga.ct.gov He will truly appreciate your kind words.
